We work with care and patience to create beautiful and delicate images that reflect the sweetness and innocence of your baby.

The first days of a newborn baby are unique and unrepeatable and having a memory of these first days of life is forever. These sessions are very special and I do them in my private studio in Leganés. There I have a space specially designed for this type of session. It is very important to have a temperature-controlled, isolated and comfortable space for both you and the little one.

When are newborn baby photos taken?

The newborn photography is done before the baby reaches 10 days of age (the ideally between day 6 and 10) and in the mornings. These days babies sleep more and retain the flexible positions of the womb. This will allow us to achieve unique images that convey peace and serenity.

What do the photos I take look like?

As a newborn photographer Madrid I am known for taking natural photos, almost without props. The newborn is the protagonist of the photos and the one who captures all the attention of the photograph. I use neutral backgrounds and some blankets or wraps.

The baby will appear asleep in such photographs and, always safely and when the newborn allows it, I will place the baby in careful positions.

In order to get the baby to sleep soundly, it is important to is calm, warm and well fed. Whether the photos are taken in the studio or at home, it is important that not too many people. Babies a few days old get upset when there are lots of people around them and stay alert.

What material do I use for newborn baby photos?

In the studio I use a stand on which I place the fabrics that I will use for the photos. The baby will be wrapped in cotton or ribbed fabrics and sometimes I will use hats of different materials.

In addition, some photos are taken with the baby in other supports such as baskets or boxes. All completely lined with blankets so that the baby is comfortable and snug. I will also use specific lighting from a photo studio and wooden floors and backgrounds.

In these sessions we also take photos with the parents and older siblings.

How to book the baby photo session?

Ideally, you should contact me in the last trimester of your pregnancy to book your photo session. In this first contact you will give me some information that will be useful for the newborn photo session we will do:

Your due date.
If there are older siblings.

As your due date approaches we will be in contact and ideally when the baby is born you will let me know. At that time we will be able to arrange the day of the photos.
